Watch the spark tester or spark plug, looking for a spark between the electrodes of the tester or spark plug. You should get some kind of spark, although if you turn slowly the spark may be weak. A great way to help avoid these problems would be to perform an annual tune-up using a Briggs & Stratton engine Maintenance Kit. Magnets do not have full strength when they have to power through rust, not having full strength WILL cause weaker spark!!.
